We got the chance to go to Civil War days this week. It was a great learning experience for all! 
Weaving on an 19th century style loom.
The wife of the man weaving said." The girl in pink wants to try it... (even though she didn't say a word... but body language is everything. :) ) So, she was thrilled to try it! |

| learning all about oxen... they are VERY sweet and gentle. This one was loving all the attention... notice the closed eyes and ears back. (the owner said that ears back meant he was smiling...) He stood there for 20 minutes while all of us loved on him. Very sweet OX! Very gentle and smart as well! |
