below and beside.. we went to a children's science museum in the Chicago area with Uncle B. The kids had a great time exploring and learning!
In our Keepers Of the Faith Class (kinda like scouts)... we learned about Bee keeping. It was great! The kids even got to make bees wax candles and have honey sticks, and even play a game that helpped them learn about how bees get pollen and necter! It was great!

I should have had more pictures of this... but I only got TZ doing this one. In science, the kids are learning all about sea creatures. At the time, we were learning about "Pinipeds" (seals, walrusses, etc.) and how they stay warm in the actic waters..... The kids tried putting gloved hands into the ice water and timing how long they could stand it... then we smeared a good 1-2 inches of vasaline on their glove and put another over the vasaline and then we timed how long they could keep their hands in the ice water... The results were amazing! without the vasaline... a few seconds, with the vasaline.. over a minute or more! What fun memories!
