It has been a while, but I still need to tell about our summer vacation... 3 in one! Grandpa and T
After Colorado, we spent a week in Branson Missouri with Amy's parents.
We had a great time hanging out at the pool, playing shuffel board till all hours of the night, talking, eating, shopping and even celbrating
C's 6th Birthday together. We even just spent time together hanging out.
We went to a breakfast buffet (our 1 of 2 meals out the whole week) for C's birthday. She was thrilled.
Later that day we went to Dolly Parton's "Dixie Stampede."
It was a lot of fun! The kids loved the drinks. Can you tell?

We slept in a 2 bedroom condo. The girls got the hide a bed.. but they all wanted to sleep together one night. T kept rolling over on C. She didn't wake up, but we are surprised she didn't.
After Missouri, we headed up to Iowa with Amy's parent's for a family reunion.
A got to go with Grandma and Grandpa at first, and then C got to also! They loved being by themselves for the first time with Grandma and Grandpa!
On our way to Iowa, a deer decided to side swipe us! Sorry, no pictures. We were very thankful that the Lord helped Rick keep the car under control. He was able to swerve a bit out of the way. The Lord allowed us to have the deer hit the driver side mirror, then bounce off the slider door and around the back of the van. We were a bit spooked, but we kept counting our blessings... We didn't hit the deer head on... I was asleep, so I didn't scream and make matters worse! :) No one was hurt and the deer seemed to run off also.
